David is a professional Industrial Engineer and has gained extensive experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Supply Chain Management and Planning in South Africa, Lesotho, eSwatini, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. More recently, David has gained experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare supply chain in the public and private sectors in South Africa and throughout the rest of Africa. Whilst working at Guidehouse, on a USAID funded project, he was responsible for the Supply Chain redesign of the South African National Department of Health. He currently leads Vitalliance, a DP World Company, and has gained valuable senior leadership skills and capabilities. His focus has been the implementation of Electronic Logistics Management Information Systems (eLMIS) in Low-to-Middle-Income countries ensuring that people, process and systems are implemented and optimised enabling equitable health for all.
